Overview: We are seeking a reliable Casual Security Guard to join our team. Our Casual Security Guard will be responsible for providing security coverage across multiple locations or shifts as needed. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, has strong observational skills, and is capable of adapting to various environments.

- Patrol and Surveillance:
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, including buildings, grounds, and parking lots.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and respond to alarms and incidents in a timely manner.
- Incident Response:
- Respond to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies as they arise.
- Provide first aid or emergency assistance when required and coordinate with emergency services if needed.
- Access Control:
- Monitor and control access to buildings and secure areas.
- Check identification, issue visitor passes, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and irregularities.
- Prepare incident reports and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Customer Service:
- Assist employees, visitors, and clients with inquiries and directions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Promote a positive and safe environment through effective communication and interaction.
- Flexibility and Adaptability:
- Provide coverage for various shifts and locations as needed, including filling in for absent guards.
- Adjust to changing schedules, assignments, and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role preferred but not required.
- Valid security guard license
- G Drivers License
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in stressful or emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
